Welcome to the Consular Corps of Southern Sweden

Here you will find information about our services as well as contact information to the Consules that are active in Southern Sweden.

A Consulate is part of the diplomatic representation of a foreign country in Sweden. The head of a Consulate has the title of Honorary Consul, and is someone who lives permanently in the city in which the Consulate is located. Activities of a Consulate include protecting the interests of their citizens temporarily or permanently resident in the host country, in some cases issuing passports to citizens of the country that the Consul represents and visas to foreigners. However, the principal role of a Consulate lies traditionally in promoting trade—assisting companies to invest and to import and export goods and services both inwardly to their home country and outward to their host country.

The aim of The Consular Corps of Southern Sweden is to promote the interests and development of the Consulates in Southern Sweden.

This website presents the activities of the Consular Corps and contact information to the Consuls who are members of The Consular Corps of Southern Sweden.
